What You Will Learn ?
Review Arabic letters, their names, pronunciation, and forms.
Read and write three-letter words with vowel markings (harakat).
Read and write words containing the three types of elongations (madd).
Read and write words containing a syllable with a sukoon (silent letter).
Read and write words containing a lunar “lam” (لام قمرية).
Read and write words containing a shaddah (ّ) with vowel markings.
Read and write words containing a solar “lam” (لام شمسية).
Read and write words containing tanween (تنوين) with fatha, dammah, and kasra.
Read and write words containing a shaddah (ّ) with tanween.
Read and write words containing “al” (ال) with hamzat al-wasl (همزة الوصل) and hamzat al-qat’ (همزة القطع).
Read and write words containing the letters “fa” (ف), “ba” (ب), and “kaf” (ك) before “al” (ال).
Read and write sentences containing the above skills through copying and dictation (with visual aid).
Read short texts and stories containing all the above skills at an appropriate speed.

- Write sentences (through visual dictation) and words (through non-visual dictation).
- Adhere to handwriting improvement standards, such as writing on the line and maintaining proper letter sizes.
- Memorize a collection of valuable poems and recite them.
- Master listening etiquette, listen to Arabic texts and comprehend them, in addition to listening to formal Arabic (Fus’ha) throughout the lessons.
- Speak with their teacher in formal Arabic (Fus’ha) and engage in discussions during the lesson.
- Enrich their vocabulary with new words and use them effectively.
- Learn and apply a set of grammar rules, such as past and present verbs, prepositions, and adverbs.
- Learn morphological rules, such as demonstrative pronouns, singular and plural forms, and relative nouns.
- Recognize linguistic styles, such as negation and questioning.
- Acquire a number of ethical values through the values program (a value every session).

- Memorize a collection of valuable poems and recite them confidently.
- Master listening etiquette, listen to Arabic texts, and comprehend them.
- Speak in formal Arabic (Fus’ha) about topics that capture their interest.
- Enrich their vocabulary with new words, antonyms, and use them effectively.
- Learn and apply a set of grammar rules, such as applying grammatical tools to nominal sentences, verbs, subjects, objects, and learn the basics of parsing (I’rab).
- Learn morphological rules, such as hamzat al-wasl (همزة الوصل) and hamzat al-qat’ (همزة القطع), and the distinguishing alif (الألف الفارقة).
- Recognize linguistic styles, such as negation, questioning, and commands.
- Acquire a number of ethical values through the values program (a value every session).
